The best place for chocoholics this Easter

While we all probably eat way too much chocolate over Easter, did you know South Brisbane is one of the very best places to be if you’re a chocoholic?

Here’s our guide to some of Brisbane’s top venues for sweet tooths.

Chocolate huntingIf you’ve never been to a chocolatier, then you’ve got a whole new world to explore!

Check out Max Brenner Chocolate Bar in Little Stanley Street, South Brisbane – just a short stroll away from Brisbane 1

At Max Brenner, you can even get a chocolate pizzascomplete with choice of toppings including hazelnut, melted peanut butter and roasted marshmallows.

Up the road at Woolloongabba, 31Degrees has a simply amazing array of hand made goodies. Hot Cross Bun Eggs – made with spiced marshmallows mixed with puffed brown ride and sultanas, and coated in cream Valrhona milk chocolate – have been extremely popular this year!

Just a few moments away in the Brisbane CBD, you can let your passion for chocolate run wild.

Noosa Chocolate Factory creates signature Fresh Rocky Road combining marshmallow and a “secret recipe strawberry jelly encased with small batch fresh chocolate – and it’s delicious.

There’s also Chocolate Moments  and Amy Sargeantson Chocolate Maker at Albion.

Among other things, Chocolate Moments stocks a selection of handmade chocolate truffles that can be packaged into gift boxes in a range of sizes. If you’re feeling a little overwhelmed by the variety of flavours, staff can assemble a mix of their most popular – from luxury white chocolate through to milk, dark and mixed.
